Music at the Ranch
Music is a human right! All people are musical, whether or not they have had the opportunity to develop their musicality. Equusong Ranch hosts song circles and musical events that bring community members together.
Music as a healing practice:
Music, like all art forms, has the potential to be deeply healing: not just for individuals but for whole communities of people. With a bachelors degree in music, a masters in contemplative education, and an Orf music certification, Sharon is able to infuse creativity, improvisation, freedom, play, and connection into her work with adults and children alike. Sharon has taught musicians of all ages and experience levels. She would love to hear from you about how she can help bring music to your life or your community.
Sharon Docherty is a music educator with over 30 years of experience. Sharon is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who helps communities of people come together through music making throughout Colorado’s front range.
